WooCommerce payments

Take booking payments through any WooCommerce gateway; bookings confirm when the order is paid.

Needs Tourivo Pro and WooCommerce. Switch the module on under Tourivo → Tourivo Pro.

How it works#

  1. The traveler chooses “Pay online” in the booking panel.
  2. Tourivo creates the booking and a WooCommerce order for it (using a hidden booking product) and sends the traveler to the WooCommerce checkout.
  3. When the order is paid the booking is confirmed. Partial payments are recorded as partial.

Rules worth knowing#

  • Online payment is offered only when Tourivo and WooCommerce use the same currency; the status check on the Tourivo Pro page warns you otherwise.
  • Unpaid orders release their seats after the hold time you set. Bank-transfer orders on hold are never released.
  • A payment arriving after a booking expired reactivates it, or alerts you if the seats are gone.
  • Cancelling a booking closes its unpaid order; paid orders get a refund note.
  • HPOS (custom order tables) is supported.
